Meet the project partners

Project partners share their knowledge and why they are flipping at the Nordplus Junior NEXT conference in Iceland on 8 June 2017. We welcome you to our final conference and workshop at the University of Turku in Rauma, Finland on 1 August 2017.

What is the NEXT project about? Arnbjorn Olafsson is the project manager of the Nordplus Junior NEXT project. 
Why did Keilir decide to flip the learning? Hjalmar Arnason is the director of Keilir Academy in Iceland. 
Why are teachers flipping? Marika Toivola is a Researcher and Mathematics Teacher at Turku University School in Finland.
What is flipped learning? Peter Homboe is an associate professor at University College South Denmark. He’s the co-author of two books on flipped learning in Denmark
Improve teaching with flipped learning. Sigrun Svafa Olafsdottir is a Danish teacher at Keilir Academy in Iceland

Project Info

The Project NEXT - From Best to Next Practices in Flipped Learning is funded by Nordplus Junior. The focus will be to create an active expert network of teachers in the partner countries practicing flipped learning in and as a part of their educational contexts, specifically by highlighting best practice initiatives.
