Hanne-Lene is an adjunct professor at University College South Denmark and works primarilgy with lifelong learning and adult education focusing on pedagogy and didactic of adult learning. She's worked on development projects researching the effects and influence of flipped learning on people with short or no formal education, as well as their motivation and learning abilities. Additionally she works with flipped and blended learning within teacher education.

Sigrún Svafa is a Danish Teacher at Keilir Academy in Iceland. She teaches adults at secondary school level. She has been flipping since 2012 and is constantly developing the teaching methods and trying new things. Her focus is on language teaching and working with adults. She is also a mentor for new teachers in Keilir, guiding them how to start flipping for first time, and working with other teachers develop the teaching methods in the whole school.

Project Info

The Project NEXT - From Best to Next Practices in Flipped Learning is funded by Nordplus Junior. The focus will be to create an active expert network of teachers in the partner countries practicing flipped learning in and as a part of their educational contexts, specifically by highlighting best practice initiatives.
